Description: With the impact of nanotechnology, nanofillers being widely explored for improving the functional properties of elastomers. Herein, the effect of nanofillers on air impermeability of bromobutyl rubber/Epoxidized natural rubber blend is analyzed for tyre inner liner. ENR 25 and ENR 50 (25 and 50% epoxidation) is used, blended in the ratio of 75:25(BIIR: ENR), and from both blendbased composites, a part of carbon black replaced with graphene nanoplatelets (GNP). The physical and permeability properties for both binary blend based nanocomposites have been studied, and BIIR-ENR 50 blend-based composites showed better impermeability compared to the BIIR-ENR 25 blends based composites.

Description: This webinar is presenting about EB effects on the allergenic proteins of NR Latex, which was irradiated by EB at 0, 30, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300 kGy to obtain the EB vulcanized NR latex that was separated into cream phase and serum phase by centrifugation. The irradiated NR latex was then characterized by various techniques including modified Lowry method, Sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) technique and mass spectrometry (MS)-based proteomic analysis. The webinar presents about quantitative and qualitative information of the proteins after EB irradiation.
